in-housed marketing and advertising department
fronted by the Owner/President, Nolan Owen. Nolan utilized the tools gained from his media design degree through Northern Illinois University and hobby experience for years thereafter. While building the sports training program, Nolan’s work in advertising and marketing
caught the attention of other local small businesses.
The requests were so overwhelming that he decided to offer his advertising and marketing services as freelance work. After years of freelance service, the in-house department evolved into a

The name “Dawg Den” goes back to 2015
when Nolan Owen Long Snapping athletes were becoming recognized as some of the nation’s best. Nolan’s athletes were looking for a “nickname” that represented the intensity of training and quality of talent that came from the program. At that time, a common term was used to represent a
top competitor in football, and they were called “Dawgs”.
Nolan’s athletes loved the name “Dawgs” and they were all housed in one place, so the name “Dawg Den” was thrown around and it eventually stuck. The Dawg Den brand applies to far more than just football,
it represents the core of all the services we have to offer.
