NOLAN'S SEASON playoffs
Athletes who qualify for the Playoffs will automatically receive an invite to the 2020 MWLS vs NOLS Showdown in Las Vegas, NV.
Finalists will compete in a head to head single elimination bracket.
Finalists will alternate snaps on the Nolan’s Long Snapping Target with their designated opponent.
Finalists will alternate between punts and field goal snaps UNTIL one athlete has achieved 3 strikes. The first athlete to achieve 3 strikes moves onto the next round. Finalists must be given a rebuttal if they snapped second.
Finalists are REQUIRED to execute a LIVE post snap responsibility for every attempt.
ACCRUAL OF POINTS
Snappers accumulate strikes per snap for accuracy.
PUNT ONLY -- It is worth 1 STRIKE for the football to go through the top box and HIT THE BACK NET. The ball can hit the post, bounce in, and count as a STRIKE — similar to that of kicking and uprights. If the ball hits the post and DOES NOT hit the back net, no strikes will be awarded.
PAT/FG ONLY -- It is worth 1 STRIKE for the football to go through the bottom box.
DEDUCTION OF STRIKES
DISCLAIMER: Strikes can ONLY be deducted on a snap to snap basis.
Significantly Wobbled Snap (different than that of a slower rotation or small “tail”)
Failure to execute Post Snap Responsibility
