THE SUMMER INVITATIONAL

• Two-day SHOWCASE event that athletes must earn their spot prior hand to attend. To earn an invite, athletes must be nationally rated 4 STARS or above as a Long Snapper from any company OR 3 STARS or above from January’s Top Snapper In America Event.

• The goal at the Top Snapper In America: Summer Invitational is for athletes to obtain as many points as possible to earn their National Star Rating and National Standings. Athletes gain points through academic transcripts, athletic testing, snapping charts, and competition.

PRIOR TO TSIA | Transcript | 40 points | 20 % of TSIA Score

GPA percentage translates over to a percentage possible out of the 40 points.
Example #1: 3.3/4.0 gpa = 82.5% = 33/40 points
Example #2: 4.6/5.0 gpa = 92% = 36.8 which rounds up to 37/40 points
*No bonus points for being above a 4.0/4.0 or a 5.0/5.0, the max is 40 points for gpa.

Each station is worth a max of 10 points which are assessed according to the performance numbers between the athletes competing as follows:

EVENTS: TWO SNAPPING CHARTS ON THE NEW! TAG / NOLAN’S LONG SNAPPING TARGET

One chart includes 8 punt snaps at 15 yards and 4 field goal snaps at 7 1/2 yards. Snappers will be required to do post snap responsibilities such as release down field or block throughout the chart.

EVENT: SINGLE ELIMINATION COMPETITION - 7 Snap Series per Matchup. Most Points moves on.

Athletes will compete head to head in a Single Elimination Bracket on the Nolan’s Long Snapping Target. The further they advance the more points they make to add to their weekend totals.

Seeding is based on present point standings. Athletes receive 5 points for every round they advance. The bottom 10 seeds will NOT have a first round bye. The top 11 seeds with a first round bye automatically receive 5 points. Playoff Winner gets the final 10 points available for competition.
